Probably one of the most apt PC indie titles to be ported to mobile and the one that vibes the most with touch controls. Coincidentally, it's also one of the cheapest ($3). Just be aware that runs can go for thirty minutes (or far longer) depending on what you're after and that the game gets incredibly grindy in the third act. Still hoping for a sequel, expansion, or even a patch someday, though that ship seems to have long since sailed.

I bought the game on pc and console. I've always said that it would be perfect for mobile and it's true, I enjoy it way more. It does however need a lot of quality improvements. The two things I'd like to see updated is: 1. having the items/tiles you place hover slightly above your finger so you can see it while placing (maybe make this a customizable setting) 2. The stats screen, while moveable it's still in the way alot. It could definitely be less wide by about 1/3.

I played Loop Hero on PC for over 20 hours waiting for it to click, but it just didn't, but it felt like it'd be the perfect phone game. Fast forward to now, it's on mobile and I was right, it's the perfect phone game, getting it with play pass is great, but it's worth paying for as there's no in app purchases, no ads, it's just a full PC game ported to phone and that's fantastic. Since getting it on mobile I've actually finished the game and achieved so much more than beforehand!
